The lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke, has obtained the All Progressives Congress Expression of Interest and Nomination forms on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The forms were presented in Abuja by the National Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Suleiman Argungu, who formally declared the process open.

Faleke, who is also the founder of the Tinubu Support Groups, completed the purchase of the forms valued at N100 million, marking an early step in the President’s expected bid for a second term.

According to the commission, presidential and National Assembly elections are scheduled for January 16, 2027, while governorship and State Houses of Assembly polls will hold on February 6, 2027.

INEC also fixed the window for party primaries and resolution of disputes between April 23 and May 30, 2026.

Campaigns for presidential and National Assembly elections are set to commence on August 19, 2026, with governorship and state assembly campaigns to begin on September 9, 2026.
