A serious road accident involving a container truck and an 18-seater commercial bus occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Sunday, leaving multiple passengers badly injured and causing anxiety among road users.
Footage that has since circulated on social media showed concerned motorists and pedestrians rushing to the crash site to rescue trapped victims and provide immediate assistance while waiting for emergency officials to arrive.
The collision was said to have taken place shortly after the Berger Bridge axis, along the outbound route from Lagos.
