NYSC Releases Call-Up Numbers for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members

By Labaran Isah

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released call-up numbers for the 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members, marking another step toward the commencement of the next orientation exercise.

The agency announced the development on its official X handle on Tuesday, stating that the call-up numbers were generated “based on registration order.”

However, the NYSC noted that due to limited camp capacities across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, only about 40 percent of registered candidates will participate in the upcoming Batch C orientation programme.

“Because of camp capacity limitations nationwide, only about 40 percent of registered Prospective Corps Members can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme,” the statement read.

The management assured those who could not secure a place in Batch C that they would be automatically deferred to the next batch. “Rest assured, those not accommodated will be automatically moved to the next Batch, which will take place soon after Batch C exercise,” it added.

Reaffirming its commitment to ensuring a seamless process, the NYSC said, “Management remains committed to ensuring a hitch-free orientation exercise and service year experience for our PCMs.”

The announcement follows the conclusion of the online registration exercise for Batch C, which opened on November 4 and closed on November 9 for both locally and foreign-trained graduates.

According to the NYSC mobilisation timetable, physical verification of credentials for foreign-trained graduates is scheduled for November 9 to 13, while ICT-related actions will be carried out from November 12 to 15.

Deployment and call-up letters will be available for printing between November 16 and 18, during which Corps-producing institutions will also facilitate the process for their respective graduates.
