EPL: Maresca Welcomes Palmer’s Return, Urges Patience on Full Recovery

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that midfielder Cole Palmer is back in action, describing the England star as one of the club’s most influential players.

Speaking ahead of the Blues’ next match, Maresca said he was pleased with Palmer’s recovery but emphasised that the club would ease him back gradually to avoid setbacks.

In comments shared by journalist Fabrizio Romano, Maresca said, “Palmer is back, and he’s probably our best player. We are happy he’s back. Now we need to give him time to be 100% match fit.”

The manager also addressed the growing excitement over a potential partnership between Palmer and young Brazilian forward Estêvão. While confirming that both players can feature together, he noted that the decision would depend on tactical considerations and the nature of each opponent.

“Palmer and Estêvão can play together, for sure. It depends on which team and the game plan. But for sure, they, and the fans, are excited. We are excited,” he said.

The remarks highlight Maresca’s readiness to explore new attacking combinations as Chelsea continue to seek a more consistent rhythm in the final third.
