The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced the release of results for candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.
In a statement issued on Sunday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board disclosed that a total of 1,264,940 results from the two days have been made available for candidates.
According to the board, the latest release adds to the earlier batch of 632,752 results from candidates who wrote the examination on Thursday, April 16.
With the new figures, the total number of results released so far has risen to 1,897,692, covering the first three days of the nationwide examination.
JAMB advised candidates to check their results through its designated SMS channels by sending “UTMERESULT” to either 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered for the examination.
The board reiterated that the released results form part of its ongoing process to make outcomes available promptly as the exercise continues across the country.
