Having carried a 2-0 advantage from the first leg, Atlético advanced on aggregate, with Lookman’s first-half goal proving pivotal in a closely contested encounter largely controlled by the visitors.
Barcelona started brightly and nearly opened the scoring within seconds, but Atlético goalkeeper Juan Musso produced a crucial early save to deny Lamine Yamal.
The visitors soon broke through, as Yamal capitalised on a defensive lapse to score after being set up by Ferran Torres. Barcelona extended their lead shortly after, with Torres firing a powerful strike into the top corner to level the tie on aggregate.
