The squad later paid a courtesy visit to President Bassirou Faye, where they formally presented the AFCON trophy, a gesture that underscored the significance of their achievement for the nation.
The team’s homecoming was marked by scenes of celebration, reflecting the pride and unity felt across Senegal after their continental triumph.
Senegal secured their second AFCON title on Sunday with a 1–0 extra-time victory over hosts Morocco at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
