Trump Claims Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei Killed In Air Strikes

President Donald Trump of the United States has claimed that Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, was killed in air strikes, although authorities in Tehran have yet to confirm the report.

Trump made the assertion on Saturday through a post on the Truth Social platform, where he described Khamenei as “one of the most evil people in history.”

“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead,” the US president wrote, adding that the development represented justice for victims he alleged had suffered under the Iranian leader’s influence.

“This is not only justice for the people of Iran, but for all great Americans, and those people from many countries throughout the world who have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty thugs,” Trump stated.

The US president further claimed that the Iranian leader had been located through advanced intelligence capabilities.

According to him, Khamenei was “unable to avoid our intelligence and highly sophisticated tracking systems.”

Trump also suggested that the reported death could open a path for political change within Iran, stating that it offered Iranians their “greatest chance” to reclaim control of their country.

He alleged that several members of Iran’s security structure, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, were unwilling to continue fighting and were seeking immunity from the United States.

“We are hearing that many of their IRGC, military, and other security and police forces no longer want to fight and are looking for immunity from us,” he said.

Trump added that continued military operations would proceed if necessary, saying targeted bombardments would continue until the US achieved what he described as peace across the Middle East and beyond.

As of the time of reporting, officials in Iran have not issued any statement confirming or denying the claim regarding the fate of the country’s Supreme Leader.
